Every team has a relationship system. It is that third entity in the room, the voice of the team, what is really going on versus what people are saying.
When we coach teams we engage the whole system versus just the individuals. We look to find sustainable solutions versus the symptoms. Our goal is to get people thinking at a higher level with less self interest. We use cutting edge skills and tools to work with the team system in a way that will allow it to flourish.
A perfect example of coaching the system is in a conflict negotiation. In team systems coaching you move the discussion from “who did what to whom” (individual agendas) to “what is trying to happen in the system” (what does the system need to be productive again). There are many applications for team systems coaching including:

- Collective Leadership: There are many leadership models out there today. Most are geared toward the individual. Our approach is called collective leadership. Allows everyone to use their leadership skills effectively while respecting people around them and allowing the ebb and flow of leadership to happen. We use this to help leaders build high performing teams and retain them.
